I just bought an engine remamed by you from Advance Auto in VA Beach for $1600.00 (plus tax and core charge) to replace the engine that had a Frame oil filter on it long enough for the engine to start making metal. I have never been to any classes or worked in a garage, but I’ve been a mechanic since I was 13, I’ve worked on everything from bicycles to multi million dollar Navy aircrafts, and I have to say the quality of this engine looks better than the rest I’ve seen in the past. There are no studs at all on this engine, I have to go buy them, that tells me that somebody took the time to think that just maybe the studs should be replaced also. :) Plus when I inspected the engine it looked brand new, until I saw Y265523 on a tag glued to the side of the block. Hopefully I can have the engine in today and maybe running tomorrow; something tells me that I’ll have this engine for a long time.

I am exceptionally satisfied with the Marshall engine which I had installed in my 1977 Dodge pickup truck approximately 2 years ago. It has performed very well and I am very satisfied with the power and performance of the engine. I have just exceeded 20,000 miles on the Marshall engine and the gas mileage and performance are quite satisfactory. I would highly recommend Marshall Engines for their performance and cost effectiveness.

Just letting you guys know that the BP engine we sold last year is racing again and is doing even better than before. Richard, the guy who bought it, is really happy with the performance. He’s gotten a trophy dash and a couple of 2nd’s (he’s still find turning suspension, etc.) but the competition is new saying he’s cheating- ha,ha! This year there are more tech checks and there have been several rule changes/clarifications made, so now it’s more competitive. He’s definitely made an impression and he always mentions Marshall Engines when he’s interviewed before each race. Some of the drivers are threatening to make him tear his engine down because they think he’s cheating, lol. I love it!

I just wanted to write a letter and let you know how much I appreciated your help and expertise. As we’ve discussed, I’m fairly new in the automotive repair industry, I have learned something new each day for the last 18 months and I will continue learning, but it’s thanks to people like you, and Marshall Engines who make it a little easier. When I first found Marshall Engines on the internet, I really didn’t think they would be interested in working with a small repair business, but I was wrong. Everybody I’ve dealt with at Marshall, from the first inquiry, has been very helpful, friendly and professional. I really appreciate that because I know I haven’t been at times – consider this an apology as well. I also want to mention that my husband, who has 4 ASE master certs, pretty much salivates when he gets a Marshall Engine or Transmission coming through the door! He has said these are some of the best quality products he’s ever installed and when the job is done, he doesn’t have to worry about it coming back. He knows Marshall is there for him if there is a warranty issue. He has been in the industry for more than 25 years, with vast experience, so he knows what he’s talking about.
